Hi Range Readers, Elissa here. This is a sad week for people who have to follow and report the news (us journalists) and even sadder for those directly affected by it.
There has been lots of hot legislative action in the last week or so, so we thought we’d go around the horn and give some updates from Washington, Idaho, and DC.
A coalition of Latino voters filed a lawsuit Wednesday against Washington’s bipartisan Redistricting Commission, saying the new political maps continue the long-standing disenfranchisement of minority voters in Yakima County.
