A poem to my ex; and a sensual poem

"This isn’t a love letter but a poem, I know it’s spicy and may be too much. But it’s possibly the queerest thing I’ve written."

sweeping sensually
like the strokes of an artists brush
you paint my softest parts
in the colors of pleasure
i gush with every drop of
indulgence you pour in
we admire our water color
we painted on the sheets

A poem about my ex

By Leonard McDaniel

In the karaoke bar
I queue up a song
I wait patiently for my turn
To sing along
"I miss you" plays on the speakers
And my voice cracks as I sing
But in all things I try to be earnest
I try to spread invisible wings
"Don't waste your time on me,
You're already the voice inside my head"
Don't waste your time on me
You're already the song I'll sing instead
I miss you, I miss you
